LEARNING IELTS TASK 2 eps.1



Under British and Australian laws a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about defendant’s past criminal record.This protects  the person who is being accessed.
Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and the jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case.




Nowadays , due to the legalisation of UK and Australia for their inhibitants, the jury of criminal case cannot  trace the detail criminal track record  that have been performed by their offenders.Therefore, some barrister reckon to change this regulation since it would be an obstacle for them to deal with the case. It is absolutely true , I think, since by getting access to the offenders past criminal record, both jury and barrister would  make right decision in the court.

 By having track record to the offenders, the juries will have massive information which can assist them in making  wise decision. It seems to me that the detail which is obtained from
offender’s crime record elaborates how one crime connect to other crimes.It would be a powerful base for the jury in deciding the punishment. To illusturate,killer then move to other country, commit the same thing, would be punished as long as a person who kill one person instead of senior killer since the proofs and witness are limited.As a result, the jury fail to keep the justice in making decision.

The other reason to get access to offender’s conviction tract record is order to  prevent the precence of cheat in court. What I am trying to say is that it is highy not impossible for the  solicitors to  protect their clients even if  they know the clients commit the guilt the since the proof and witness are limited ,pricesly they are much more easily play with case. I never experienced with this matter, however, I ever watched a film about chain killer.The killer is a rich person and he hire the best lawyer in the city to protect him by providing artificial facts.Then the lawyer succeeded in ensuring the jury to prove their client don’t guilt for the case.

In a not shell, in order to keep the justice ,  offenders’ conviction track record should be well accessed by both jury and lawyer in order to keep the justice.Therefore, they can minimalize the number of people commiting crime.

Menjadi Guru

Mungkin sebagian orang beranggapan berprofesi sebagai seorang guru itulah adalah kesekian pilihan dari beberapa pilihan yang ada.Kadang berprofesi sebagai seorang guru itu hanya dipandang sebelah mata bagi sekelompok orang. Image kampungan , katro , out of dated dan culun itu sudah menjadi sarapan pagi yang dijejal oleh guru itu sendiri.
Apalagi yang namanya guru SD, mereka biasa nya direndahkan , bahkan oleh orang tua murid yang mereka ajar sendiri.Misalnya , ada yang menyuap guru SD dengan mengisikan pulsa , memberi uang saku. Memalukan....
Namun , kita tak hanya bisa memandang guru hanya dari sudut pandang liberalis , tapi kita dapat melihat secara rasionalis .Guru itu pahlawan tanda jasa , ingat kan ? . Belum tentu orang lain bisa menjadi guru , apalagi yang namanya guru SD.Kesabaran mereka itu sudah benar -benar ditempa.Eh jangan salah ada juga guru yang menganiaya murid nya. Itu sih lain lagi ceritanya . Itu dikategorikan dalam penyimpangan.
Nah , bagi kalian yang bercita-cita ingin menjadi seorang guru mungkin pandangan dan isu mengenai Guru SD diatas bisa menjadi acuan.
Guru adalah orang yang bertugas mengajar dan memberikan ilmu yang mereka miliki kepada muridnya. Itu pengertian guru secara umum. Secara khususnya , guru adalah orang yang mengajar didalam kelas. Namun tugas guru didalam kelas tidak hanya mengajar. Mengajar adalah tugas pokok dari seorang guru. Jika ingin menjadi seorang guru kita harus mampu meyakinkan diri bahwa kita adalah fasilitator , motivator, dan educator bagi siswa-siswa yang kita ajar. Karena tugas seorang guru tidak hanya mengajar melainkan guru bertugas memainkan beberapa perannya dididalam dan diluar kelas untuk mendukung keprofesionalismean dari seorang guru itu sendiri.
